Neamen Wise dominates states

Congratulations to Lake Brantley's Neamen Wise who won two golds in track and field in the 4A state track meet in the long jump and 300 hurdles.

Another DTS trained lacrosse player goes off to the Collegiate level

Congratulations to DTS trained lacrosse player, Jonathan Horbert will be playing lacrosse at the collegiate level at Susquehanna University. Jonathan is one of the 4 lacrosse players we train who will be going to play at the collegiate level next year. Jonathan has also been named to the All-Central Florida lacrosse team.

Below you will see Jonathan performing an overhead medicine ball throw to develop power for more of an explosive shot. Explosive work such as a medicine ball throw or box jump accompanied by maximal weight training will help an athlete become faster and stronger, this is key to becoming a better athlete.

DTS trained Lacrosse player named All-American

Congratulations to Lake Highland Prep and future Washington and Lee University lacrosse player for becoming an Academic All American along with being named to Central Florida's All Lacrosse team.

DTS trained weightlifter takes 3rd in states

Congratulations to Mike Asbate who took 3rd in states in the 169lb. division at the FHSAA  boys weightlifting finals totaling 585lbs. in the bench press (315lbs.) and clean and jerk (270lbs.)

Mike has also been selected to Orlando Sentinel's All-Central Florida team.

Check out one of the exercises Mike used to increase his strength. Below Mike is performing a floor press with jump stretch bands, this exercise is great for developing starting strength in the bench press.
